AUBG essay competition

The American University in Bulgaria invites you to join the Essay Competition “Youth ideas on the move”

If you would like to win a full scholarship to attend the International English Summer Camp taking place from 26^th of June to 16^th of July at the American University in Bulgaria, say no more and start preparing your essay.

Topic: The ideal education system in a globalised world.

Guidelines:

• all essays must be original, format Times New Roman 12, 1,5 spacing and written in English
• minimum length: 500 words
• maximum length: 1.000 words
• the header has to include contact information of the participant (name, age, email address)
• essays including paragraph copied from other sources will be disqualified

Evaluation criteria:

• originality and innovation of ideas
• clear essay structure
• content to fit the topic

*all essays will be evaluated by a team of AUBG officials

Competition calendar:

• 16^th of May- 12^th of June : time to send you essay
• 13^th of June- 17^th of June: Evaluation
• 19^th of June: Final results

Who can participate?

– Romanian High School students currently enrolled in grades IX-XI in a Romanian school
